Eucharistic ministers are special ministers who assist the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. You may also be trained to bring Holy Communion to the sick and/or homebound. A minister of Holy Communion should be one who takes their faith seriously and is a Catholic in good standing. Training sessions are offered in May and November. One is usually scheduled every 3 to 4 weeks.
